device and allow seamless access to rich information.

mobiglu starts from an internet-connected personal identity server, holding
secure information about an individual and about their relationships to
other individuals and organisations. The system is pervasive because any
portable device - typically a mobile phone – has the potential to bond with
any other local device, whether active or passive, fixed or mobile, by any
available short-range communication method. mobiglu then authenticates the
identity of both devices with the corresponding identity servers, and
delivers authorised information to the third party.

This data bonding could cover a wide variety of purposes – exchanging
contact information, personalising other devices, access control etc.
mobiglu expects to enable a wide range of identity-based services, and
