Rachel Clarke, Head of Social Media, twentysix

Rachel was schooled in Project Management at Diageo within their global marketing team. She was responsible for the development of many brand websites such as Smirnoff, Baileys, Guinness, Captain Morgan, and Johnnie Walker.

Rachel then became a Digital Strategist with JWT New York where she worked across numerous integrated transmedia campaigns, with a focus on Social Media. Rachel’s brand experience includes Sunsilk, Welchs, Kleenex, Dominos, Smirnoff and Stride and works at twentysix London across multiple accounts including Shell, Laithwaites and  the Royal Navy. Dan Rickman - Chair of the BCS Geospatial Specialist Group, BCS

Dan is Chair of the BCS Geospatial Specialist Group.  He is an independent consultant with over 20 years experience working on geospatial systems and has spoken on these issues most recently at events organised by BCS and Oracle.  He also blogs on geospatial issues for the BCS.  His main interests relate to sourcing of geospatial data and new applications.  He has worked on a range of public information systems, including Legible London which aims to provide wayfinding information for tourists and commuters. http://geospatial.bcs.org

 

Mark Stimpfig MD, Sales and Marketing Director, ConnectED

Mark was educated at Repton and Downing College, Cambridge. At the latter he gained an entrance exhibition in History. After graduating from Cambridge, Mark initially worked in central London in publishing, print and design before setting up his own direct marketing agency in 1991 with a portfolio of FMCG clients.
By 1995 the agency developed expertise in marketing technology products to business to business channels; working with organisations like Dixons / PC World, BT, Comet, DTI, Intel, Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, Reuters and Sony. ConnectED was formed in 2006 by Mark and his co director Andrew Goff as a dedicated agency to market SONY Virtuoso and SONY PlayStation and other related technologies into mainstream education and training.

Allix Harrison-D'Arcy

Allix Harrison-D'Arcy came to London to study Artificial Intelligence, but stayed for the money. He worked on numerous internet and user interaction projects throughout the dotcom boom. After that, Allix went to PlayStation where, amongst other things, he lead a project to develop a 'game like' web browser for the PlayStation2. At the moment he operates a bespoke white-label software studio and works to set-up a group promoting the development of standardisation in Augmented Reality platforms.
